Since the construction of the Causeway impacted many communities in the Strait Region, it was important to host anniversary activities in these various locales. Some of the venues which hosted East Coast performances associated with the 50th Anniversary of the Canso Causeway include:

• SAERC Auditorium - Port Hawkesbury;
• The Creamery - Port Hawkesbury;
• St. Peter’s Bandshell;
• The Port Hawkesbury Waterfront;
• Shannon Studio - Port Hawkesbury;
• The Canso Causeway;
• Venus Cove - Mulgrave;
• Aulds Cove Fire Hall;
• Judique Community Centre;
• St. Margaret of Scotland Church - Broad Cove;
• Creignish Community Centre;
• Granville Green - Port Hawkesbury; and
• Glendale Community Hall.
